Venerable Soma Memorial Dhamma School
The Venerable Soma Memorial Dhamma School, governed by the Buddhist Vihara (Temple) of Queensland, was inaugurated in 2005 under the guidance of Chief Incumbent Venerable Sitinamaluwe Sugathasara Thero. Starting with a single class, it has grown to six classes with over 100 students from Prep to Year 10. The school operates every Saturday from 4:00 pm to 6:15 pm, excluding Queensland school holidays.
The school’s success is attributed to the dedication of volunteers, teachers, visiting monks, and parents, who help create a nurturing environment for spiritual and moral growth.
